KVS envisions itself a world class organization in school education committed to continually empowering teachers to actualize inside out synergy in students and enable them to fulfill futuristic societal, national and global needs and aspirations.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Ujjain has been established in 1981 and administered through KVS
Bhopal region which works under the direct guidance of Ministry of Human Resource and
Development.

The vidyalaya with its palacial building is situated on Engineering College Road, Ujjain near
32nd Battalion, far from the hustle-bustle of the city life having calm and quiet pollution free
atmosphere-highly conducive to learning, it has big playgrounds spreading in 15 acres of land
with garden and swings and varied playthings for small children.

It has a special Administrative block with big rooms. Main building 48 rooms with three
sections up to XI and two onwards to XII. There are 1328 students at present right from
Pre-Primary to Senior Secondary Sections of Science and Commerce streams.

Its children bloom with enthusiasm in their blue and white uniform. They observe discipline in
their well-set ventilated class-rooms or outside in their playgrounds or gardens where
amiable and congenial atmosphere reigns

For the security of the school and its assets Security Guards are posted around the clock.

KV Ujjain is doubly blessed .It is on the bank of river KSHIPRA and at the feet of lord
MAHAKAL. It links two roads. The Indore road and the Dewas road, at a short distance
from 32 battalion, near Govt. Engineering college. None the less it’s a charming way to success
as its motto is ‘Gyanarth Pravesh, Sevarth Prasthan’ .
